Our Owner

Jan Lehmann

First of all, let me say thank you for taking the time to get more information about Changing Seasons Home Health. This is my labor of love, and has been since 1995. That was when I made a life changing decision! I wanted to give something back to my community while helping people, and have my own business. So, I started a home health agency. At that time, there were 42 home health agencies in the region. At one point over the years, that dropped to only 6 agencies! Just surviving all the changes has been a miracle in itself, but I am still here doing what I love.

I have always enjoyed working with people (even back when I was just a kid working at Sylvia’s Dress Shop!) I pursued this passion at the University of North Texas, and graduated with honors with a degree in Business Management with an emphasis on Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. That led to a great career, starting with the State of Texas at the Texas Employment Commission. From there, I went to work for Kwikset as their Human Resource Supervisor during their startup. After 5 years, I went to work as Human Resource Manager for Libbey Owens Ford.

Its been an exciting and fulfilling road, that has led to where we are now. We are proud to be the premier home health agency in North Texas, and I am proud to work with the dedicated people we employ. My understanding and experience in this industry is vast, and I am blessed to be doing what I love. That is helping people, especially in their difficult seasons of life. Let us know if you have any questions about our services. We are here to help!

Sincerely,

Jan

Our Employees

At Changing Seasons Home Health, our goal is to select the most qualified individuals available in the industry. To select them for their professional experience and their love for patient care. To provide them with the most current tools available for them to do their job well. To appreciate them for the hard work they do daily

Here is what some of them have to say:

What do I like about home health?

"Home health allows us to provide health care for patients in their own home environment, which ultimately enhances their overall health and well being."

"It allows us to create a special bond with that patient and really get to know their family and loved ones. This connection allows us to personalize needs and cater to their lifestyles."

"You get to develop personal relationships with clients, and spend more time keeping them home where they can heal better, and feel more comfortable."

"Helping people and making their day. Seeing smiling faces. Knowing I have done something good for someone that is home bound."

Why do I like working for Changing Seasons?

"I love working for Changing Seasons because it is a smaller agency which allows each of us to really know the patients."

"This agency creates more time for the patients we see, and consistency in who is providing that patient's care."

"The staff is very caring and concerned about clients. They go above and beyond to help, no matter what time of day or night."

"This is an honest, hardworking agency - we try to do everything by the book!"

"It is a Christian company. The atmosphere is good."

"It feels like family."

Our Philosophy

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1

Mission Statement

We want to be a trusted partner in the medical community who is known for integrity, professionalism, and respected for excellent patient care.

Philosophy

Our goal is to be the Premier Home Health Agency of North Texas. To do this we keep our agency at a manageable size. Our service area is up to 30 miles from our office within Texas. We do not feel you can respond to a patient’s needs if they live too far away. Our Registered Nurses care for a maximum of 25 patients to insure that each patient receives the excellent personal care that our agency is known to provide.

We recognize that we have three customer groups who we want to serve better than any other home health agency in our area:

Our Patients
We want to deliver the finest, personal care possible. We believe that technology has a place in our industry but you cannot replace the human touch. Keeping you involved in your care is important and maintaining your confidentiality is your right.

Our Physicians & their Office Staff
Our desire is to respond quickly to referrals, and orders while keeping the physician’s informed with the least amount of intrusion into their very busy workday.

Our Employees
Our goal is to select the most qualified individuals available in the industry. To select them for their professional experience and their love for patient care. To provide them with the most current tools available for them to do their job well. To appreciate them for the hard work they do daily.

Our Community

At Changing Seasons Home Health, we are committed to staying
connected to our community. Service is an essential characteristic
of our organization, and we try to encourage a spirit of service
whether at work, at home or in the community.

Here are just a few of the ways we are currently involved:

Comfy Throws & Cozy Toes

Each year Changing Seasons
Home Health warms up for the annual blanket & sock drive.

The fall leaves crunch softly as Jan Lehmann, owner of Changing Seasons Home Health, helps deliver armfuls of donated blankets and socks to a local long term care facility.

“From what we’ve been told, these are often the only gifts some of these seniors will receive this Christmas. They really make a difference.” says Jan.

Each year, Changing Seasons selects a different long term care facility as the recipient of the donated items.

High Tech or Low Tech? At Changing Seasons, we offer the latest high-tech equipment, but sometimes the most comforting things are decidedly low tech- like a cozy blanket, warm socks and companionship!

You Can Help! Help make someone’s Christmas a little better by donating a lap blanket, twin size blanket or socks. Call us and we’ll pick them up, or you can drop them off.

Caregiver walk funds local needs.

Changing Seasons Home Health steps out with the Caregiver Celebration Walk.

Each year we hav a chance to lengthen our stride in support of those in need of help with caring for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s patients.

“We love supporting this event, because 100% of the proceeds go directly to those who need it most.” says Jan Lehmann, owner of Changing Seasons Home Health. “Funds are helping provide needed care for real people right here in our local area.”

People Helping People. In the past, volunteers traveled as far as 300 miles to help make this event an inspiring success. The Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities of Texoma and TCOG are hoping for another successful effort.

Psychologists

We have a relationship with Therapy Centers for Psychological Development to help our patients with depression due to loss of a loved one, loss of personal independence, or coping with a new disease.
